The Young Democrat Union of Africa (YDUA) on Wednesday，4th May 2022 conferred the Africa Peace Award on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his contributions to the growth and sustenance of peace and freedom in Ghana, West African Sub-region and Africa at large.
The Award, which was presented on behalf of the Union by Stephen Harper, former Prime Minister of Canada and Chairman of the International Democrat Union and was assisted by Mrs Louisa Atta-Agyemang, President of YDUA.
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia received the award on behalf of the President at the Jubilee House, the seat of government, in Accra.
I never imagined that the trophy I made could be awarded to the president of a country. Looking at this news picture, I am particularly happy. This is the recognition of myself and my company.
